Web, desktop and mobile apps

Use Komms in your browser or as a desktop app at launch. Mobile apps, push notifications and calls follow soon after.

At launch#

App Status
Web app, in any modern browser At launch
Desktop app for macOS (signed and notarised) At launch
Desktop app for Windows (signed) At launch
iOS app with push notifications Coming soon
Android app with push notifications Coming soon

The apps are free. You pay for plans on the web, from your account.

Coming soon#

  • Mobile apps for iOS and Android, with push notifications.
  • Voice and video calls, end-to-end encrypted with keys from the conversation itself.
  • Search across your full local history, not just the messages loaded on screen.

Using more than one device#

Sign in on each device with your passkey. Each device keeps its own encrypted copy of your conversations. Any of your devices can finish anchoring messages that another device sent before it went offline.

Keeping your app up to date#

Desktop apps are signed, so your computer can check they really come from Komms. Only download Komms from komms.app.
