Your Komms wallet
A built-in Kaspa wallet to see your balance, receive and send KAS, and pay network fees yourself if you want to.
Every Komms account has a built-in Kaspa wallet. You don't need to use it: Komms covers the network costs of everyday messaging. It's there for people who want it.
What the wallet does#
- Shows your KAS balance
- Receive KAS to your Komms address
- Send KAS to any Kaspa address
- Shows your activity
Paying network fees yourself#
Normally an operator pays the small Kaspa fee to anchor your messages, and is repaid at that cost. If you hold KAS, your app can pay for an anchor itself at any time. That means nobody can keep you off the network by refusing to sponsor you.
Paying for plans in KAS#
Paying for plans in KAS is coming soon. At launch, plans are paid by card on the web.
Keep it safe#
Your wallet is controlled by the same keys as your account. Anyone with your recovery kit controls your wallet too.
